Animating Textures

7. Add a UV Map to the plane
  • Properties menu >> Object Data
  • UV Maps >> Plus (+) button
Note:
  • The UV Map holds the position of the texture and normal map on the game object
     
  • After we add the image, we will UV map it to the game object using this UV Map
8.  Give the UV Map a unique name
  • Properties menu >> Object Data
     
  • UV Maps >> Name: Flame_UV
Note:
  • Highlight the name and double click to rename
9.  Add a material
  • Properties menu >> Material >> New
