
16. Load a Texture
- Properties menu >> Texture button >> Image tab >> Open
- Load it from your hard drive
Note:
- For the second texture, I am using an RGBA image named Grass_Alpha.png
- Download: Grass_Alpha.png


17. Image: Use Alpha
- Properties menu >> Texture button >> Image tab >> Use Alpha checkbox
- Load it from your hard drive
Note:
- Grass_Alpha.png has an alpha channel
- Use Alpha uses the alpha channel so the mud texture will show through the grass texture


18. Texture Mapping Coordinates: Generated
- Properties menu >> Texture button >> Mapping tab
- Coordinates: Generated
Note:
- You don't have to use Texture Mapping Coordinates: Generated
- You can use whichever Texture Mapping Coordinates works best for you
