Baking Textures

22. Add a UV Map to the Plane
  • 3D View >> Plane selected
     
  • Properties menu >> Object Data button
  • UV Maps tab >> Plus (+) button
Note:
  • The UV Map is used to bake the textures
23.  Give the UV Map a unique name
  • Properties menu >> Object Data button
     
  • UV Maps tab >> Name
Note:
  • I am naming my UV Map: Bake_UV
     
  • Highlight the name and double click to rename
24.  UV/Image Editor: Select UV Map
  • 3D View >> Select Plane
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Edit Mode
     
  • UV/Image Editor >> Active UV Map box >> Bake_UV
