7.  Create an empty UV Map for the Mirror
  •  Properties menu >> Object Data >> UV Maps >> + button
  • A UV Map lets you position the texture on the game object.
  • After we add the texture, we will UV map it to the game object using this UV Map.  
8.  Give the UV Map a unique name
  • Properties menu >> Object Data >> UV Maps
  • Name box >> Mirror_UV
  • Double click the old name to rename
  • I am naming my UV Map Mirror_UV
9.  Add a material to the Mirror 
  • Mirror selected:  Object mode
  • Properties menu >> Material button >> New bar
