Baking Normal Maps -- High to Low Polygon Models

19.  Snap cursor to low polygon object center
  • Select low polygon model
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Object Mode
     
  • 3D View menu >> Object >> Snap >> Cursor to Selected
Note:
  • To bake the high polygon model normal map to the low polygon UV Map, the high polygon model object center has to be in the same place as the low polygon object center
20.  Snap the high polygon model to the cursor
  • Select the high polygon model
     
  • 3D View menu >> Snap >> Selection to Cursor
21.  Select both high and low polygon models
  • Select the high polygon model first
     
  • Hold the shift key down
     
  • Select the low polygon model last
Note:
  • It's important to select the high polygon model first
