Baking Normal Maps -- High to Low Polygon Models

22. Bake Settings:  Properties >> Render >> Bake
  • Bake Mode:  Normals
     
  • Normal Space:  Tangent
     
  • Selected to Active checkbox:  Enabled
     
  • Clear checkbox:  Enabled
     
  • Distance:  0.2
     
  • Margin: 0 px
Note:
  • The Distance in the maximun distance in Blender Units
     
  • You can set the Distance and Margin to anything you want
23.  Bake the normal map
  • Properties >> Render >> Bake >> Bake button
24. Save Normal Map
  • UV/Image Editor >> Image >> Save As Image
Note:
  • If you don't save the baked image, it will be deleted when you close Blender 3D
