Using Normal Maps

16. Image Sampling: Normal Map
  • Properties menu >> Texture >> Image Sampling
     
  • Normal Map checkbox:  enabled
     
  • Normal Map Space selection box >> Tangent
Note:
  • Normal Map Space Tangent uses the Red, Green and Blue colors to retrieve the value of the normals.

17.  Mapping Coordinates: UV
  •  Properties menu >> Texture >> Mapping >> Coordinates: UV
18.  Select UV Map: Normal_UV
  • Properties menu >> Texture >> Mapping >> Map >> TileWall_UV
Note:
  • TileWall_UV is the empty UV Map that was created for the Normal Map
