7. Scale Bezier Circle in Edit Mode
  • 3D View menu >> Mode Box >> Edit Mode
     
  • 3D View menu >> Select >> (De)select All
     
  • 3D View menu >> Curve >> Transform >> Scale >> Move mouse
Note:
  • As always, scale game objects in edit mode

  • 1 Blender Unit = 1 meter

  • For this tutorial, I'm scaling the Bezier Circle by 9

8. Create an outline of the width of your race track
  • Bezier Circle >> Object Mode

  • Add Plane

    3D View menu >> Add >> Mesh >> Plane

    Plane >> Edit mode >> Select 2 vertices.

  • Delete two vertices, leaving 1 edge.

    X key >> Vertices
Note:
  • This tutorial uses the simplest possible shape (a line) for the road

  • The same steps apply for any shape.  (Tunnel, road with a center line, etc,)

  • 1 Blender Unit = 1 meter

9. Center the object center between the two remaining vertices
  • Plane (2D outline) selected.  Object mode

  • 3D View menu >> Object >> Transform >> Geometry to Origin
