10. Apply Scale and Rotation to the road shape and track path
- Road shape selected. Object mode.
3D View menu >> Object >> Apply >> Rotation & Scale
- Path selected. Object mode
3D View menu >> Object >> Apply >> Rotation & Scale
Note:
- While you don't have to, you'll get the best results if the road shape and track path have the same scale and orientation.
11. Parent road shape to track path. Use Follow Path.

Parent road shape to track path
Select Road Shape 1st.
Hold Shift Key Down.
Select Path 2nd.(Both Road Shape and Path selected)

Parent: Use Follow Path
3D View menu >> Object >> Parent >> Follow Path
Set Parent To >> Follow Path
12. Clear road shape Origin

Select Road shape. Object Mode
-
3D View menu >> Object >> Clear >> Origin
Note:
- Clearing the road shape origin will move the road shape to start of the track path
