Real Time Shadows

4.  Viewport Shading:  Texture
  • 3D View menu >> Viewport Shading box >> Texture
  • Viewport Shading Texture renders the game objects with the textures you add
5.  Add a Plane
  • 3D View menu >> Add >> Mesh >> Plane
  • We will use the Plane as the ground that the shadow is cast on
6.  Add a material to the Plane
  • Properties menu >> Material >> New

  • You can also add a texture if you want
