Note:
  • Shadow Buffer Type Simple: Shadow edges are sharp.
     
  • Shadow Buffer Type Variance: Shadow edges are gradual.
20. Buffer Shadow Size
  • Sun selected
     
  • Properties menu >> Object Data button
     
  • Shadow tab >> Quality: Size
Note:
  • Range: 128 to 10240 kilobytes
     
  • Large Shadow buffer: Shadow edges are smoother
     
  • Small Shadow buffer: Shadow edges are jagged

  • Spotlight Selected
     
  • Properties menu >> Object Data button
     
  • Shadow tab >> Clipping >> Clip Start Range
     
  • Shadow tab >> Clipping >> Clip End Range
Note:
  • Only the Game Objects between Clip Start and Clip End will cast shadows
     
  • Clip Start Range:  0.0 to 9999.0 Blender Units
     
  • Clip End Range:  0.0 to 9999.0 Blender Units
