28.  UV Unwrap the Skybox
  • Select all:  3D View menu >> Select >> (De)select All
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mesh >> UV Unwrap >> Unwrap
Note:
  • You can use any UV Unwrap method that you want
29. If needed:  Adjust UV Map to skybox texture
  • UV/Image Editor menu >> UVs >> Constrain to Image Bounds
     
  • Select all vertices: UV/Image Editor menu >> Select >> (De)select All
     
  • Rotate: UV/Image Editor menu >> UVs >> Transform >> Rotate
     
  • Scale: UV/Image Editor menu >> UVs >> Transform >> Resize
30.  Normals -- Recalculate Inside
  • 3D View >> Select skybox
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Edit Mode
     
  • Select all: 3D View menu >> Select >> (De)select All
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mesh >> Normals >> Recalculate Inside
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Object Mode
Note:
  • Because this is a skybox, we want the sky texture to be displayed on the inside when we start the game engine
