25.  Normals -- Recalculate Inside
  • 3D View >> Select skydome
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Edit Mode
     
  • Select all: 3D View menu >> Select >> (De)select All
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mesh >> Normals >> Recalculate Inside
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Object Mode
Note:
  • Because this is a skydome, we want the sky texture to be displayed on the inside when we start the game engine
26.  Increase skydome size
  • 3D View >> Select skydome
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Object Mode
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mesh >> Transform >> Scale
Note:
  • I am increasing the skydome size by 200
27.  Reset the scale of the resized skydome to 1
  • 3D View >> Select skydome
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Object Mode
     
  • 3D View menu >> Object >> Apply >> Scale
Note:
  • All game objects should have a scale setting of 1
     
  • Resizing a game object in object mode will change the scale setting
     
  • Using Apply will reset the scale setting to 1 without changing the size
