4.  Add a Sound Actuator
  • Logic Editor >> Actuators >> Add Actuator >> Sound
5.  Open a sound file 
  • Logic Editor >> Actuators  >> Sound Actuator >> Open
Note:
  • Supported sound formats: wav, ogg, mp3, flac, aif.  (Blender 2.59)

  • 3D Sound:  wav and ogg.  (Blender 2.59)

  • For this tutorial I used Water_Bubbles.wav

6.  Sound Actuator settings
  • Play Mode:  Loop Stop

  • Volume:  1.0

  • Pitch:  0.0

Note:
  • Play Mode -- Play Stop: 
Plays sound from beginning to end.  Negative pulse--stops playing immediately.
  • Play Mode -- Play End: 
Plays sound from beginning to end.  Negative pulse--finishes playing before stopping.
  • Play Mode -- Loop Stop: 
Plays sound continuously.  Negative pulse--stops playing immediately.
  • Play Mode -- Loop End: 
Plays sound continuously.  Negative pulse--finishes playing before stopping.
  • Play Mode -- Loop Bidirectional Stop: 
Plays sound continuously.  Forward and then backward.  Negative pulse--stops playing immediately.
  • Play Mode -- Loop Bidirectional: 
Plays sound continuously.  Forward and then backward.  Negative pulse--finishes playing before stopping.
  • Volume:
The volume of the sound.
Range:  0.0 to 2.0
0.0 = no sound
2.0 = maximun sound
  • Pitch:

The speed at which the sound is played.
Range:  -12.0 to 12.0
-12.0 = Slow speed
0.0 = normal speed
12.0 = fast speed
