
7. Give the UV Map a unique name

Properties menu >> Object Data button

UV Maps tab >> Name: UV_Stencil
Note:
- I am naming my UV Map UV_Stencil

8. Add or Select a material
- Properties menu >> Material button >> New
Note:
- Textures are placed on Materials. No Materials. No Textures.

9. Add a new Texture Channel

Properties menu >> Texture button

Select an empty Texture slot >> New
Note:

We are going to be using 3 texture channels

The first texture channel holds the top texture

The second texture channel holds the stencil
-
The third texture channel holds the bottom texture
