31.  Make Reticle_UV the active UV Map
  • UV/Image Editor >> UV Map box >> Reticle_UV
32.  UV Unwrap the Plane 
  • 3D View menu >> Mesh >> UV Unwrap >> Unwrap
Note:
  • Because this is a Plane with one Face, we can UV Unwrap it using Unwrap.
     
  • There are other ways to UV Unwrap it but this is the easiest.
33.  Fit Image to Plane
  • UV/Image Editor menu >> Select >> Select/Deselect All
     
  • Move UV vertices as needed
34.  Scale Plane in front of camera
  • Select object
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Edit Mode
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mesh >> Transform >> Scale
     
  • 3D View menu >> Mode box >> Object Mode
Note:
  • If you scale the game object in Object Mode, remember to reset the scale to 1.0
     
  • 3D View menu >> Object >> Apply >> Scale
     
  • For this tutorial I am scaling the Plane to 0.05
35.  Switch to main scene
  •  Info menu >> Scene box >> Scene

  • My main scene is named Scene
